Can't spend a dime?
Then, spend some time... Support your local Law Enforcement officers through their peers and family at the Emerald Society
SPREAD THE WORD
Arizona Law Emerald Society is compromised of Law Enforcement professionals, active and retired, throughout the great State of Arizona. We are part of a nationwide fraternal institution created over 60 years ago to promote a social spirit among police officers of Irish ancestry.
ALEES has evolved into a benevolent organization which, through its Non-Profit Foundation provides immediate financial support to families of law enforcement officers who are killed or seriously injured in the line-of-duty while serving in Arizona
Our organization is comprised entirely of volunteers from the law enforcement community who receive no salary or benefit; therefore 100 percent of total revenue for our injured and fallen officers fund is available for benefits assistance.
One of our methods of filling the coffers
is to produce t-shirts, hats, challenge coins and other items to sell at event booths, and on our on-line store. The proceeds from these items help us present families of fallen and injured officers with an immediate financial relief.
Golf tournaments, parades, luncheons, brunches and yes... St Patrick's Day. The secret to working hard is learning how to let loose, enjoy yourself and to have fun.
All of our fundraising events have a social aspect to them, regardless of the tragic circumstances that trigger the effort. Come see for yourself.
Post it, tweet it, share it. The more people you tell, the more help we can receive.
2017 Membership Drive through March 17th
Make a single or monthly donation directly from your bank account, credit card, or Paypal.
Each year our membership and supporters host a series of events designed to raise funds and honor officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their community. From general fundraising at Irish- themed gatherings, event booths, parades and celebrations, to focused specific fundraisers, ALEES has donated over $60,000 since its first fallen officer fundraiser in 2010. It is only through the volunteered time and efforts of those supporting our organization that we have reached these goals
Our charity events are comprised entirely of volunteers.
Any cop will tell you that its all about family.
Day in and day out we work to improve our communities and make them safer for our own families. Facing the unknown while protecting and serving others, and supporting our brothers and sisters who have dedicated themselves to public safety.
We are proud to hold family oriented events throughout the year to allow those we work for to join with us and celebrate our pride in duty.
ALEES is constantly taking on new members into the organization.
Active and retired Law Enforcement Professionals make up our membership. There are memberships for those with Irish heritage and those who simply uphold the Irish traditions of honoring the job and the community with their actions.
Send us a note for an application or if you have questions.
The Arizona Law Enforcement Emerald Society partners with members of our local communities. We hold events and support the activities of the Arizona Irish Cultural Center (ICC), many local businesses, and numerous other charitable organizations.
Through these cooperative engagements we foster support for law enforcement in general and find our organization benefitting from goodwill outside of our normal circles.
The Arizona Law Enforcement Emerald Society supports other similar charities and participates in community events throughout the year
